JOVEN FAQ

JOVEN is a local Community Based Organization that has an array of programs designed to meet the needs of children and their families. We work with children between the ages of 5 – 17.
We do our best to provide our services free of charge to all of the families who seek our help. There are currently no fees to register or enroll your child in any of our programs.
The majority, if not all of our funding comes from federal and state grants.
The JOVEN main office is open Monday thru Friday (with the exception of observed holidays) from 8:30 am to 5:30pm. Effective November 1, 2019 the office will close from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.  Our out of school time program closes at 6:00pm.
You can volunteer as a mentor, a classroom aide or a reader. If you would like to become a volunteer, please contact our office at (210) 924-0330. If your time is limited, donations are always welcome. Click here to donate to JOVEN today.
JOVEN can only provide services to the school districts in which we have a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU). You can ask your child’s school counselor to call the district office to
find out if we have an agreement with your district. If JOVEN has an MOU with your district,
the counselor can call our main office number and request programming.

For enrollment in out-of-school-time or summer camp programs, please call our main office for more information at (210) 924-0330 X230.

JOVEN’s an acronym for Juvenile Outreach and Vocational Educational Network.
